Our Story

Built for people who want to live what they care about.

Every morning and evening, Journe deals you a short deck of ideas, picked for the parts of your life that matter to you, and gives you people to do them with. Not a planner. Not a coach. A nudge toward the life you already want.

Where It Started

The missing piece was never motivation.

Journe began as a place to gather what we were learning, from podcasts, books, and late-night conversations, and to connect it to the lives we actually wanted. We tried journals, habit trackers, to-do lists, and coaching apps. Each asked us to plan harder, track more, and protect a streak.

None of them helped with the real problem. We already knew what mattered: our kids, our health, our friends, our work. What we were missing on a busy Tuesday was a good idea we could act on today.

So we built the daily Idea Deck. Name the parts of your life you care about, and every morning and evening Journe deals a short deck of specific things to read, try, and do for them. Keep what sparks something. Go do one.

Good ideas turn up everywhere else too. When a reel or video has something worth trying, share it with Journe or text it the link, and it becomes an idea on the Journey it fits, ready to plan, practice, or set aside for someday.

Then we noticed something else. People follow others for their taste, not their tips. And it’s easier to show up when you know others are showing up too. So Journe lets you follow creators whose taste you trust, see their picks in your deck, and join their Moments: one idea, one window, thousands of people doing the same small thing together.

Who’s Behind It

Built by a busy dad doing his best to show up.

I have two kids, a full plate, and a long list of things I care about that the week somehow crowds out. Journe started as the tool I wanted for myself: one good idea, handed to me on a busy day, so a little more of my time goes to what matters.

I don’t get it right every day. Some days showing up comes easily. Other days I have to work a lot harder to show up the way I want to. Journe is built for both, because the point isn’t a perfect streak. It’s finding a way to show up, even on the hard days.

What We Believe

The decisions behind every feature.

These aren’t slogans. They’re the choices we make when we decide what to build, and what not to.

Journeys first

Start with what matters.

Before goals, habits, or plans, you name the parts of life you want more of. Every idea Journe offers is picked for one of them.

Ideas, not obligations

Offer, don’t assign.

A card is an invitation. Keep it, pass on it, or come back later. Nothing turns into homework unless you want it to.

Calm by design

Short decks, no streaks.

Two decks a day, then you’re done. No endless feed, no scores, no guilt when life gets busy. There’s always a direction to return to.

Together, never compared

Counts, not leaderboards.

Moments show how many people showed up, never who. No rankings, no public profiles of what you did, nothing to compete over.

Taste over reach

Creators in their own words.

Creator picks show up exactly as they wrote them, marked with who picked them and why. Creators are invited, and what they share is what they actually do.

AI as support

A guide, not an authority.

Your Guide suggests and helps you think. It never decides for you, and nothing joins your record until you accept it. You own your data.

How Journe Works

From what matters to what you did.

  1. Name your Journeys.

  2. Swipe your morning and evening decks.

  3. Pick one idea and go do it.

  4. Join a Moment and do it together.

Everything you keep, pass on, and do teaches Journe what fits, so tomorrow’s deck beats today’s. Your Guide is there whenever you want to think something through.

The Company

Journee Labs

Journe is built by Journee Labs, a small team making technology that helps people spend their time well. We think the best tools do their job and then get out of the way.

We don’t build for time-in-app or chase engagement. Every decision comes back to one question: does this help someone live a little more of what matters to them?
